Sunset Bay View Resort at San Fernando, La Union is truly an escape from the buzzing city life which offers an intimate ambiance situated in the heart of lush greens while facing the great view of the beach.
It only had a small sort-of-an infinity pool yet we really had a good time. The place itself gave us a moment to relax and bond as a family.There were few guests using the pool although the hotel rooms were all jam packed.Maybe, they all just wanted to get a good rest, taking advantage of the long vacation.
My daughter really enjoyed swimming in the pool. Some kids who were there easily made friends with her and I was so happy that she finally had learned how to socialize with kids at her age already. They were Amerasians so there really was no language problem.
The food was also good. One meal was more than enough for one hungry traveler and usually price ranges from P280- P400 each depending on what you crave for. But for these types of food, I would pair them with mashed potatoes and not with rice next time around.
It also had a good service crew who were very attentive to our needs and clean toilets and wash rooms. With a P200 entrance fee inclusive of all the amenities therein, was already a good bargain.
We also walked along the shore line, and the sea glittered under the sun. It was crystal clear, with the white sand draping our feet- what more can we ask for. Too bad there were a lot of sea weeds that time, so we decided not to go for a swim. But others say, this beach is ideal for snorkling... Well, we didn't try that.
All in all, I love this place, and definitely, we would be coming back soon.
